Tis the Season

In recent years a lot of people have been making a fuss about the type of greeting we should offer each other during the month of December. Some Christians insist that “Merry Christmas” is the only acceptable greeting, while others prefer “Happy Holidays” so as to include everyone, whether or not they celebrate Christmas. (And isn’t it interesting that nobody says “Happy Christmas” considering that “merry” is an old-fashioned term that we don’t use in modern conversation other than at Christmastime?)

I grew up in a home where Christmas was celebrated every year, and that continues to be my favorite holiday. I still say “Merry Christmas” when sending cards or greeting those who celebrate the same holiday. I also recognize that some people in this country and around the world do not celebrate Christmas, and I think the way to build bridges with them is the more inclusive “Seasons Greetings.”

When it comes right down to it, December marks the season of Love and Light, however we choose to celebrate it, and no matter what name we give the holiday of choice. December must be more like June for those who live in the Southern hemisphere, but up here in the North we experience the shortest days and longest nights this month, and so most holiday celebrations include lights and candles to brighten the darkness.

Those who believe that “Merry Christmas” is the only acceptable greeting at this time of year may not realize that some of the other holidays celebrated in December originated long before Jesus was born. The celebration of his birth didn’t become a holiday until the year 336 when December 25th was finally decided on as Christ’s birthday. The Germanic peoples had celebrated Yule on December 25th, considered by ancients to be the winter solstice, for longer than historians can calculate. Hanukkah was first celebrated in the year 138 BCE. How can anyone claim that Christmas is the only December holiday worth recognizing when others pre-date it by centuries?

People have celebrated with fire and feasts in December for ages because the short days evoke the human need for fun and frivolity. It is also the time of year when many believe the veil between heaven and the world is thin, and “angels bend near the earth.” Each year, when the sun is close to the earth and the days are dark, there is an opportunity to connect with our inner light and wisdom. It is an ancient belief that the sun, being the symbol of our consciousness, is reborn on the 25th. It is a holy time for spiritual people, no matter what religion they do or don’t adhere to.

The Feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe, a Mexican holiday that is growing in popularity in the United States, celebrates the belief that a man encountered the Virgin Mary, Mexico's patron saint, in Mexico City on December 9 and 12, 1531. Some people hold the belief that the Virgin Mary appears to people in order to bring the energies of the Divine Feminine into the world. According to a message given by Patricia Cota-Robles for December 12, 2018: “The transfiguring divine love of our Mother God is the mightiest force in the Universe. It is the vibration from which we were born from the heart of God, and it is the vibration through which we must now evolve and ascend back into the heart of God.” She also said: “When we experience the love of our Mother God, we know that we are all one.”

So – this season is a time to experience and share divine love with all the world. It is a time to seek the light within, symbolized by the candles and festive lights we decorate our homes with, and a time to recognize the oneness of humanity in all of its diversity, celebrating the season in whatever way we choose.

I think I’m going to coin a new greeting for this time of year: “Season’s blessings to all!”

Building Bridges with the Olympics

The Olympic Games serve as a bridge between cultures and nations, drawing the attention of an estimated 4,500,000,000 people during the 17-days of competition. As pointed out by Patricia Cota-Robles (eraofpeace.com), the Olympic Games signify the Family of Humanity setting aside our differences so we can come together to attain our highest level of excellence.

Too often, the global events that garner the attention of the masses are horrific ones, such as wars, natural disasters, and acts of terrorism. When this happens, the resulting mass consciousness lowers the vibratory rate of humanity and increases negativity. The Olympic Games are now providing the opportunity for humanity to add to the Light of the world.

The Olympic Games began with the Opening Ceremonies on July 27th and will build in momentum through the Closing Ceremonies on August 12th. Patricia Cota-Robles says: "Because we are One and there is no separation, we have the ability to set the Divine Intention for the energy, vibration, and consciousness that will be released by the people focusing on the Olympic Games. All we have to do is invoke the I AM Presence of every man, woman, and child and ask that the thoughts, words, actions, feelings, and beliefs associated with the Olympic Games be purified by the 5th-Dimensional Solar Violet Flame and utilized to transmute our human miscreations cause, core, effect, record, and memory back to Humanity’s initial fall from Grace. The Company of Heaven has been given permission to amplify our efforts a thousand times a thousandfold. That means that every call we make will be the same as 1,000,000 people invoking the same thing. Just imagine what a powerful difference it will make when hundreds of thousands of us are making these invocations!"

"Throughout the Olympic Games let’s join our hearts and minds with the hearts and minds of our Father-Mother God, the entire Company of Heaven, and the I AM Presence of every man, woman, and child on Earth. Together we will cocreate the matrix that will form the collective Cup of Humanity’s Consciousness during the Olympic Games. Let’s invoke the new 5th-Dimensional Solar Violet Flame of God’s Infinite Perfection and clear the surfacing negativity that is overwhelming so many people. Let’s also invoke the Light of God to assist all of our sisters and brothers in the Family of Humanity to lift their heads above the chaos and confusion, so they will remember who they are and why they have volunteered to be on Earth during this Cosmic Moment."

Please join prayerfully with this invocation:

"I AM my I AM Presence and I AM One with the I AM Presence of every man, woman, and child on Earth. I AM also One with my Father-Mother God and with the entire Company of Heaven. Beloved Ones, as One Voice, One Heartbeat, One Breath, and One Consciousness of Pure Divine Love I ask that you gather up every electron of precious Life energy that is expressed in any way during the Olympic Games. Purify that energy with the 5th-Dimensional Solar Violet Flame of God’s Infinite Perfection, and Transmute into Light every thought, word, action, feeling, and belief associated with the Olympic Games. Utilize that Light to transmute Humanity’s surfacing human miscreations cause, core, effect, record, and memory, through all time frames and dimensions, back to our initial fall from Grace. Beloved Company of Heaven, I ask that you amplify this invocation a thousand times a thousandfold. I accept with deep appreciation and gratitude that with your assistance every invocation I make will be intensified with the power of 1,000,000 people."

Discovering Who We Are

I have been enthralled by all the enlightening information contained in Patricia Cota-Robles'  book: Who Am I? Why Am I Here? Having spent much of my adult life reading books upon books about "the meaning of life," I can honestly say this is the one book that - for me - brings the most clarity to the human question, and fills in the gaps where I had previously received partial answers.

In this book you will find what I am inclined to believe is the true story of humanity's fall. Yes, we were created to be divine children of and co-creators with our Father-Mother God. So what happened to us? The tragic story sent tears running down my face - but realizing that it happened millions - not thousands - of years ago, I had to keep reading, to follow the unfolding of the Divine Plan.

We have now arrived at that point in time when we are ready to re-claim our place as divine co-creators with God. No longer is it blasphemy to claim our true heritage! Now we realize it is blasphemy to deny the mother aspect of our God parents. It is blasphemy to throw away the gift of co-creation that was given to us at our birth, millions of years ago. It is blasphemy to say that any of God's children are unworthy worms.

It was blasphemy for Constantine to edit the scriptures, removing all references to reincarnation, and to compose, with his bishops, the Nicene Creed that claims Jesus was the ONLY begotten child of God. I have not said the Nicene Creed in a long time, but since reading this book, which confirms everything I had previously known about Constantine, I decided I will remain seated while others stand to profess their faith according to the words of this creed.

I know that most people who disagree with the tenets of the Christian Church simply choose not to participate in it. But I still love my church and my church family, so I stay there to protest the lies we have been told for 2,000 years, and to plant little seeds of New Thought whenever I can.

For instance, after clearly outlining my beliefs to my pastor, I volunteered to take home communion to our shut-ins. My pastor said that while my beliefs are not traditional, she doesn't have a problem with them. The prayer that I was given for the occasion ended with these words: "Although we are unworthy to approach you, or to ask anything at all of you, grant us your grace and blessing for the sake of Jesus Christ our Redeemer." I changed this passage to read: "As your divine children, we ask you to grant us your grace and blessing, for the sake of Jesus Christ, our Way Shower."

The other elder who was serving communion with me said the prayer was beautiful, and our shut-in friend loved the whole service, including my analogy: that the time Jesus spent between the crucifixion and the resurrection was like the time a caterpillar spends in the chrysalis, turning into a butterfly. I said that we, too, are like caterpillars in a chrysalis - it's just taking us a little longer to break free and fly.

In recent years I have grown bolder about speaking my truth at church, at home, and in my writing. Patricia Cota-Robles book validates my beliefs in such a way that reading it has given me even more courage to express my beliefs and shine my Light whenever and wherever I can.

I have been empowered by these words from Who Am I? Why Am I Here?

"Every day deliberately use your thoughts, feelings, words, and actions
to add to the Light of the world. You have been training for lifetimes to do this.
Ask your I AM Presence for guidance. Listen to your heart. Trust yourself.
You are powerful beyond your knowing."

These words are for you, my reader, too!
